Runwaydreamz

I just discovered runwaydreamz.com
Using vintage denim, runwaydreamz creates bespoke designed cut-off shorts. From American flag print, tiedye, leopard print to heavily studded, each pair is totally a one-off piece.

I do, love them all but my fave is the both the America flag print and the technicolour studded shorts.

Prices start from $142+ and with worldwide shipping, no-one will miss out on owning a pair of these super cool shorts. The American Flag print shorts I love best work out at around £115 which includes tax and shipping, but for a one-of-a-kind piece like these it is worth it!

For those of you who love the idea of these but don't want to splurge out, Topshop  do currently have some similar style shorts that will set you back a reasonable £25+

To make your Topshop shorts more unique, you could customize them by adding studs, or shread the denim by using a cheese grater.

......and now the search is over

So, today I went shopping for dresses for my bridesmaids and after a long, but fun day......we found the perfect dresses! Both of my bridesmaids looked stunning in every dress they tried on so my head was starting to hurt with the stress of what style to pick! When they tried on which seems like the 10th dress, we all knew it was the perfect one for them. I cannot wait to see them walk down the aisle in them.
That's another big thing ticked off my wedding list so i'm really pleased.

Mid-way through dress shopping we had lunch at The Grill on the Corner in Glasgow which was delicious! If you haven't been, I would suggest you pop in. They have a great menu with a good selection of yummy dishes.

The only downside of the day was I had my new (gorgeous) wedged ankle boots from Topshop on and being on my feet all day in high wedges was a big mistake. My party feet gel inserts didn't seem to work so I ended up having to hobble into Primark to buy a pair of flats to get me back to the train station! All was not lost as I got a cute pair of Vivienne Westwood inspired  welly ankle boots (black patent with a silver glittery bow on the front) for £10 as opposed to the designer price of £70+ .........happy days!!

Note to self: when shopping with my fiancee for his kilt to wear flat shoes and NOT heels!!!

And so the search begins..........

So tomorrow i'm shopping for bridesmaid dresses for my two beautiful bridesmaids to wear to my wedding later this year. I have a good idea of the style / colour i'm looking for so that's half the battle! As well as my bridesmaids, Gemma and Gillian, my mum and my mum-in-law to be, are out for the day and will go for a lovely lunch so it should be a fun day for us all!

Best Dressed at the 2012 Golden Globes

I loved looking at all the stunning gowns worn at this years Golden Globes. Here is the two  gowns that stood out for me:-

Charlize Theron looks simply stunning in this couture Dior gown. To be honest, Charlize looks gorgeous in anything from her J Brand Houlihan jeans to beautiful couture gowns like this one. Everything from the subtle pale pink shade of this gown to the diamante detailing in both the dress and on her hairband makes this gown simply perfect. Hands down this is my fave!!

This Vera Wang number looks perfect on Sophia Vergara as it skims beautifully over her perfect curves. I love the midnight inky shade of this gown against her olive skintone. I'm a big fan of Vera Wang dresses!

Although I love both gowns, it was this little chappy that stole the show......................................

.....meet Uggie, the dog from the film "The Artist", he's just adorable!!

Beautiful in Brights

Stella Mccartney

Stella Mccartney

Giuseppe Zanotti - love the spikes on the toes!!

Alice & Olivia

Rag & Bone

I can't help but smile when I look at these stunning pieces. When I see bright shades I think of the summer time when it's lovely and warm and when I can leave the umbrella at home!

To play it safe, wear one statement bright piece or teaming two contrasting but complementing pop shades together will also look great.

Bring on the summer!!!!

Bring on Pay Day!

Why does January payday feel like it's never going to come?! After all the expense over Christmas & New Year it can't come quick enough!

Anyway, when it does eventually arrive these are a few things I will be treating myself too:-

HD Brows Palette
Just before New Year I got my HD Brows done at the salon. I'm so pleased with the results although it will take a few sessions for my Brows to be perfect. During my treatment, the beautician used the HD Brows palette to fill in any gaps in my brows.
I think to keep up the perfectly groomed "fresh out the salon" look I need to invest in this palette. At under £20 it's good value and you can also use this for creating a smokey eye too!

Sensi Studio Panama hat

I love hats and have been searching for the perfect panama hat for wearing on my honeymoon this year. Today I came across this lovely panama hat by Sensi Studio. The simple thing I like best about this hat is the bright pop of neon yellow ribbon contrasting against the neutral hat. This will keep my head protected from the sun and will look fab with my new bikini's on the beach.

This hat is available from Matchesfashion.com and is also available with a bright pink ribbon too.

By night, this Topshop chiffon placket shirt will look great tucked into either a leather pencil skirt or over leather-look leggings and by day look gorgeous over a pair of denim cut-off shorts. Be aware, this shirt runs large to size so you may wish to go a size or two down than normal.

Bring on pay day!!!

On my hit list..........The Givenchy Antigona Tote

I first saw the Givenchy Antigona bag whilst shopping in London just before christmas and I loved it. I tried the medium sized bag and for me, it was an ideal size, not too big or small, just perfect! I held the classic staple black which was gorgeous and I then saw the bag in a stunning orange colour (think of the beautiful Hermes Birkin Orange) in a display cabinet in a London boutique.

Whilst having a look online I discoverd the bag in a vibrant bright blue colour which would be perfect for spring summer 2012 and my fave Khaki colour.
I have classic black bags so i'm now torn between the Bright blue and the Khaki!!!

What colour do you like best?

We are Handsome

I love this Grizzly bear print bikini from the Australian designer We are Handsome

I think I just might have to get this bikini for wearing on my honeymoon this year as I just love it!
I'd add some chunky gold bangles or a statement necklace for a stylish but playful beach look.
