I have this Alexander Wang dress in grey. I got it in London in August and haven't had it on yet but thinking i'll wear it over christmas and new year! This dress is so flattering on with it's body-con figure hugging style. It zips all the way up the front and also has two cute pockets at either side. They only had one of these dresses left in the store but it was an extra small so I honestly didn't think it would fit me but it did! I see now that they have the dress in black (as in pics)! This dress is so nice on that I might get the black one too for christmas?? As we all know, black dresses are staple pieces that never go wrong and with plain dresses accessories are the perfect way to mix it up!
Check out the new AW10 nail collection from Chanel. Loving these 'muddy' back to nature shades that's around this year. I have alot of brown shades already so the Khaki Vert shade is the one i'll be looking out for!
The first time I smelled the Chanel Rue Cambon perfume was at Christmas time when my mum gave me a miniture bottle of it as a stocking filler. This perfume is just gorgeous, it's got a clean and fresh scent to it which you will never get bored with!
The exact description of this beautiful perfume as from Chanel is as below:-
"A rich, smooth, elegant floral with a couture character -- inspired by the legendary CHANEL address in Paris -- and created by CHANEL Master Perfumer Jacques Polge in 2007. The warm Chypre accord is set free and made luminous and modern with inviting notes of Bergamot, Patchouli and Cistus oil"
My mum is a big fan of Chanel No 5, my Grandma loves Chanel No 19 and my Aunt wears Coco Chanel! I always find they all smell lovely and when I have a spray of there perfumes that it just doesn't smell the same on me. I think perfume does settle and smell differently on everyone so it's always worth trying a perfume on yourself before buying it!
I have to say though, Chanel Rue Cambon is my favourite!!
I hear that the Kate Moss for Topshop collection which is being launched next week will be the last one she does for Topshop. I actually really liked some of the collection and in particular was lucky enough 2 seasons ago to get these two dresses from the limited edition pieces:- Leopard Dress
I wonder who will be next to join Topshop to create a special collection? Hmm..........................
After a hard days work I came home to a lovely surprise tonight......... My mum said she managed to get me the Wolford tights that Cheryl Cole was wearing on the X-Factor at the weekend!! Yippeeaa. She knew I would like these funky tights so got in quick and ordered me them before they sold out! I honestly do have the best mum in the whole world ~ thanks mum :-)
Ohhhh, how nice are these leather gloves from Chanel. Your hands will not only be warm and cosy in these but you'll also have the most stylish gloves on .....only thing is if you had these you would have to be EXTRA careful not to lose them ...Eeeek!!
Blazers have been a must have for this past season and it looks like this trend will be around for a good while yet. I was very lucky to find this gorgeous silk-mix black blazer in Topshop's January sale.
It was from part of Topshops' limited collection pieces and with all the beautiful diamante stud detailing all over, it is something special! I wear this oversized blazer with skinny jeans and a simple fitted vest top or for a night out I team this with a vintage belt and where it as a dress!!
Blazer as a dress by teaming it with my vintage belt
When I was at school I remember going away a weeks holiday to Spain with my grandma. The weather was amazing and we had lots of fun hitting the markets looking at all the beautiful leather bags and accessorize. I had saved up some spending money and was so pleased with myself when I purchased a Moschino belt (black leather with gold lettering) for myself and a Moschino brown leather bag for my mum!! I remember wearing the belt almost everyday for years and although the bag was a gift for my mum I think she only used it once as I always used that too! As with a lot of things the Moschino belt has now made a comeback and I've been seeing lots of these belts selling for high prices on ebay so figured i'd need to look mine out, dust it off and enjoy wearing it again, hmmm only problem is................................I can't find it anywhere :-(
I have a sneeky suspicion it may have been given to charity years ago getting mixed up in a clear-out :-( I know that as this belt was purchased at a market stall in Spain that it is not a 'real' Moschino however I loved it all the same!
I'm going to have one last search for the belt and if no luck then perhaps put it on my christmas wish list for when i'm going down to London this year as I see the Moschino boutiques have re-launched this classic belt. I suppose rather than taking the risk of not getting a 'real' one on ebay and having to enter into an endless bidding war with others i'd rather go direct to the Moschino boutique and get it from there!
Classic Chanel bag and Moschino belt looks good on Kourtney Kardashian
For christmas last year my mum got me a set of the limited edition Chanel 'Les Trompe L'oeil De Chanel' temporary tattoos! These are sooo cute. I don't have any real tattoos as think when I got older i'd live to regret it and having a major fear of needles doesn't help too so these are just perfect for me!!
This military style wool coat is perfect for the cold winter weather. This olive green colour is a classic colour which will go with almost everything and the leather belt just finishes this coat off nicely!
I always find it hard to find the perfect pair of jeans and i'm sure alot of people do too! Currently i'm loving J Brand jeans. I have a few pairs of J Brand jeans in my collection now but I especially love my skinny tie-dye ones as they fit perfectly and are super soft on :-
Kate Beckinsdale and Heidi Montage are also fans of the J Brand tie-dye skinny jeans!
I got these Sass and Bide Black Rats leggings last year for my christmas. I love them as they are super comfy to wear and all you need to do is through on a vest style top and some heels and you are good to go!
I loved the original ones so much that when the new ones came out I had to get a pair of them too (these ones are called PVC black rats however they are not actually made of PVC - they are called PVC as they are more glossy than the original ones)
Here's just a few of my fave online shops that I love to visit regularly to check out what gorgeous things they have in:-
My fave online Vintage stores:- www.rokit.co.uk
Me and my friends always LOVE searching about the Starry Starry Night vintage store which is in Glasgow. It's the coolest, quirkiest store as its not like your normal brickwork building, its actually like its a wooden carriage ~ amazing!
