Goodies from Mulberry, Christian Louboutin & Sleeprollers

Well, after a hard-day's work it was great to go back to these treats that the mailman delivered for me:-

When these sleep-in rollers promised "goodbye sleepless nights, hello great hair", how could I resist! I've been using the standard velcro rollers that have the thick plastic insides so these pretty pink soft rollers should be so much more light and more comfortable in my hair. I can't wait to test these out and will update you on the results as soon as I do.

A Mulberry London Fashion Week 2012 tote bag.
My mum actually managed to get me this gorgeous little tote bag as a surprise!
I'm not quite sure how she did it but thanks mum, I love it.

Christian Louboutin Tattoos.
These are a limited edition piece for the 20th anniversary of Christian Louboutin and available from the Louboutin pop-up store in Selfridges, London.
Again, these are a surprise gift from my mum! She knows I love limited edition pieces like this.

I'm delighted with all my new bits and bobs.

The Alexander Wang Adele Clutch

I really love this Adele clutch from Alexander Wang. I love how the neutral canvas and leather trim gives this clutch a raw and tough edge and how the rose-gold hardware adds a softer, prettier feel.

This clutch is a good, staple accessory which will look great in the summer months teamed with bright silks and through the winter months with your warm wollen military coat.

I think what I like best is the fold-over structure of this clutch, it makes me think of the little brown paper lunch bags that are either scrunched or folded over at the top!

The Adele clutch also comes in a leather option in both grey and black.

Love this

I love this little black number and hope that when it's released in April time that it's affordable enough for me to treat myself too! Failing that, I may try to re-create the look with a sheer sleevless blouse tucked into a puffed skirt and give it the couture finish by adding on my own mixture of vintage jewels and beads.

Today's Look

I just love, love, love this outfit from the Australian brand Bec and Bridge
The floral shirt is really pretty and delicate looking and looks gorgeous tucked into the burnt-orange suede high-waisted shorts. I'd also wear this shirt with a pair of classic flared blue jeans and some high wedged heels or platform sandals.

Mary Katrantzou for Topshop

On friday this week, Topshop will be launching the highly anticipated Mary Katrantzou collection. I've already fallen for the above dress that was worn at the 2012  ELLE style awards by model Poppy Delevingne. The dress will set you back a designer price tag of £350 but with the beautiful mixed print and lampshade structured bottom I think it will be worth every penny!

If you are after a piece from this cool collection, you had better be online early on friday before its all gone!!

My next purchase?

I had a look in Zara yesterday lunchtime and was drawn to these gorgeous canary yellow sandals. These would look great with blue skinny jeans and a floaty silk blouse in the summertime.

These sandals are pretty comfy on as they are well padded on the inside and the on trend platform nicely balances out the chunky high heel making them ok for walking in.

At £49.99 they are a good bargain so I had better get them quick before they are sold out!

My new accessory

Last week I was really excited to discover boticca.com
On the Boticca site you will find thousands upon thousands of beautiful unique jewelry & accessories from newly discovered designers from all over the world. I loved searching through the site looking at all the amazing unique gifts and jewels but for me, the piece that stood out was the leather cape as pictured above. My amazing finacee treated me to this for a valentines day gift although today it arrived and I couldn't contain my excitment and had to open the perfectly packaged box. The cape is handcrafted from buttery soft leather so sits so comfortable on. I will wear this over plain tanks, T-shirts etc and will wear it both draped over my shoulder with the ribbons hanging naturally and buttoned up with the ribbon tied in a pretty box at the back. I love this piece as its so unusual and unique which makes it all the more special to me.
The cape is by the designer Maison d'us Q from the Netherlands. The designers also have beautiful leather bags and belts but it was the cape that I had to have!!

So a big thank you to my amazing fiancee for buying me the most amazing valentines day gift. X

Today's outfit

So today's outfit is simple but stylish and puts you right in the mood for the lovely summer weather.
The canaray yellow vest is from Victoria Beckhams Denim collection , the stone coloured cargo jeans are by Superfine (I still love cargo jeans), the tan leather bucket bag is by Alexander Wang (the metal studs at the bottom of this bags gives the soft leather an edgier feel) and the sandals are by YSL.
A lovely gold toned long necklace would just finish this outfit off nicely!

New in.....J Brand's Neon Jean collection

J Brand's "brights" collection of jeans went down a storm so i'm sure this new "neon" collection of skinnies will be a hit too. I think whats nice about this collection is this neon tone is subtle and not garish.
If you want a piece of the neon collection then get a pair now from selfridges.com
These jeans will set you back a cool £225 so if you would rather save than splurge head into Topshop where you will find similar styles at around £40

Zebra Print

I have fallen for this gorgeous Zebra print blazer from Zara's new collection. This piece is great to wear with your skinny jeans or some rolled-up chino pants with a simple basic t-shirt or tank top or in the better weather ditch the jeans and get on a neutral shade of tailored shorts.

Way back in 2008, Balmain featured the Zebra print blazer as part of their fall collection:-

Rhianna was a fan!
