The Alexander Wang Adele Clutch

I really love this Adele clutch from Alexander Wang. I love how the neutral canvas and leather trim gives this clutch a raw and tough edge and how the rose-gold hardware adds a softer, prettier feel.

This clutch is a good, staple accessory which will look great in the summer months teamed with bright silks and through the winter months with your warm wollen military coat.

I think what I like best is the fold-over structure of this clutch, it makes me think of the little brown paper lunch bags that are either scrunched or folded over at the top!

The Adele clutch also comes in a leather option in both grey and black.

We are Handsome

I love this Grizzly bear print bikini from the Australian designer We are Handsome

I think I just might have to get this bikini for wearing on my honeymoon this year as I just love it!
I'd add some chunky gold bangles or a statement necklace for a stylish but playful beach look.

My perfect travel outfit

Loose-fitting olive green linen combat style trousers, white tank top, black blazer with turned up sleeves and gorgeous sandals:-

I just got these trousers today from Zara. They are gorgous with my cut-out detail ankle boots (as seen in picture) or with flats. These trousers are also available in Navy.

I'll wear this with flat sandals for travelling on holiday then throw on my heels and a dressy top for going out at night.

The look - My black blazer is from Zara, white tank top by Alexander Wang and the ankle boots are Aldo's highstreet version of the Giuseppe Zanotti cut out ankle boots. Nails - I'm currently wearing a bright pink Chanel nail polish on my toenails called "Riveria" -  the pink clashes well against the olive green trousers and black cut-out ankle boots.

Best Buys

With my holiday to the sunshine only a few weeks away I've been hunting for some cute holiday outfits and managed to pick up some gorgeous things this weekend! I really don't need anything new however it's always nice to treat yourself to some nice, new holiday things plus the things I picked up were too good a bargain to pass up!!

Here's some of the cute things I picked up:-

H&M shorts and top ~ I was instantly drawn to the vibrant pink shade of this top and you can never go wrong with animal print so though these pale blush pink shorts were just adorable. This top looks amazing tucked into these high-waisted shorts and will be a good day or night time outfit for my holiday.

Zara platform shoes ~ I tried these shoes on ages ago and at the time I decided not to get them. As usual, a few weeks passed by and I wished I had got them. I had put the shoes to the back of my mind until I popped into Zara on Friday at lunchtime and found the last pair in my size and even better, to my delight, they were half price...............result!
I'm not sure how high these shoes are but lets just say know I know what it's like to be a few inches taller and the same height as my gorgeous fiancee!! These skyscrapers went out for a test run last night at a friends engagement party and I'm delighted to say my feet survived through a whole night of throwing some moves down on the dance floor and not an injury was had....excellent!

H&M Sandals ~ I saw these today and had to have them. This picture really doesn't do these sandals justice. These are comfy, stylish and are in such a fun bright purple. If the purple is too daring for you, they also come in a classic black. I'll have fun wearing my new bright yellow "mimosa" Chanel nail polish with these this summer!

I highly recommend you head into H&M soon to check out the summer collections. They have gorgeous maxi dresses, shorts, bikini's..............you name it, they have it and at great prices too!

My Summer Essentials

Check out this gorgeous bikini set I just got from H&M:

The set cost under £20..............oh I do love a bargain!
I cannot wait to wear this on holiday with my new Primark £4 hat (my hat is a cross between a trilby hat and a floppy hat so it mixes the on trend trilby style with the practical floppy style to protect me from the sun).

My mum also just informed me that she has just managed to get me the Chanel summer 2011 nail colour 'Mimosa',the perfect  must have banana yellow shade to complete  my beach outfit!

Head down to both H&M and Primark now to grab your summer staple bargains!
H&M bikini's are all under £20 and Primark has some cute bikinis for under £6.
Primark also has great reversible beach towels for £7 and flipflops for £1.50 so you really can get all your summer holiday essentials at prices that won't break the bank!

Today's must have is................?

The 'Sail On' bikini by Insight:

This light powder blue bikini is gorgeous and with the map print all over it, you can plan your next exotic holiday destination whilst strolling along the beach!
This is my ideal bikini for my summer holidays.
I'd wear this with over-sized sunglasses and either a raffia panama hat or straw fedora like this one:

Ahoy there......

In the summertime I love to put on my sailor hat and let the nautical look sail me through the warm summer months.
The nautical trend will suit almost everyone and is such an easy look to put together.

Go all out with wide-leg sailor buttoned trousers, a nautical striped blazer and finish it off with a seaman style hat or go for the more subtle look by adding in one key sailor style piece like a stripe silk vest with plain jeans.

My sailor look above has been pulled together with this-seasons hottest pieces which are all available to order now via www.farfetch.com

The pieces I pulled together are:-

Alice and Olivia stripe blazer
Balenciaga skinny fit dark blue jeans - go for the dark blue jeans for a good contrast
Givenchy red shopper bag
Giuseppe Zanotti suede espadrilles
Henrik Vibskov 'Able' seaman hat
Maison Martin Margiela brass cuff bangle
Wunderkind coin necklace
Vince drawstring linen trousers
Theory silk stripe vest

Holding out for a bargain

Sales...... you either love them or hate them. Many bargains are to be had if you have the time and the patience to sift through the jumble looking set-up.

I suppose it depends on what kind of mood I am in wether I enjoy the sales or not. I have often got great bargains from sales and in the likes of TK Maxx. Take for example, the gorgeous black Alexander McQueen dress and Moschino jacket I got from there- I was geared up and in a "hunting out the bargain" mood that day and was so delighted when I stumbled across these.

With sales, I think if you follow the number one golden rule of "if you wouldn't want to buy it at full price then don't just buy it because its reduced" you will be fine!

I have had my eye on this gorgeous skirt by ADAM and these Alexander McQueen ankle boots for a while now and although the are now both in the sale, they are still abit pricey for me so i'm holding out to see if they reduce these some more! This is a risky strategy as too often has been the case where I have not got something I loved and then by the time I went to get it it's been gone....ooops.

I have styled my sale wishlist items above in this "summer rock" look. I've teamed the beautiful chiffon-silk skirt with a simple classic black topshop vest (the trusty faithful staple piece) and a cute Balenciaga drawstring pouch bag. The plain top lets the skirt stand out and do all the talking and the giant silver hardware detailing on the bag picks out the silver buckle detailing on the ankle boots.

Keep you all posted on wether I cave in and order these or not before they are going, going, gone!

On Safari Style

I'm a big fan of shorts, especially safari style shorts. For going out, instead of wearing your old faithful skirt why not jazz up a pair of shorts with a dressy top or even wear it with a simple vest style top and let the accessorize do the talking!

Summer Lovin

These are all my staple things that I wore all through summer. What's so good about them all is that they are classic pieces that will last for seasons!

My  Givenchy sandals with chain and buckle detail. Super stylish and comfortable.

My black Topshop sandals with elastic detail and zip at back and my brown leather Zara sandals. I wore these black Topshop sandals when I was in London shopping this summer, I honestly could'nt have managed all the shopping without wearing these on my feet!!

Got these Chanel sunglasses in the Chanel Old Bond Street Boutique a few years ago. Was feeling in a 'rock and roll' mood that day so feel in love with these with the silver studs on the black. I will have these forever and ever!

My pink CC Skye stud bangle. I was watching an episode of Kourtney and Khloe take Miami one day at my mum and dads house and saw Kourtney wearing this bangle and thought it was cute. My brother must have been paying attention as he ordered my one for a surprise for my birthday this year!!!!! What a nice brother I have!!

I was shopping with a girl from work one lunchtime and we popped into Reiss as they had a sale on. I saw this cute ball shaped clutch bag and being in the sale I just had to get it. Its a gorgeous canary yellow shade and has a nice gold handle. With its vibrant summer colour, this bag was just perfect for nights out over the summertime.

When I was in America on holiday 2 years ago I saw this amazing shopper bag in TJMaxx. It's by the designer Liz Claiborne and being in the Desginer outlet TJMaxx I got it for around 70% off the retail price!! Being a classic beige colour that goes with almost everything and it being a great size to fit loads in meant I used it all trough the summer. I cannot begin to explain just how soft the leather of the bag is, its one of the nicest, softest leather bags I have came across yet....well apart from my Chanel ones that is!

Ohhh, what can I say. As soon as I saw this Francesco Biasia handbag with the amazing green suede I just had to have it. People always comment what a beautiful bag this is and that they just love the colour of it!
